Highfields Holidays Bed & Breakfast - Peterborough

The breakfast was a good highlight.

The room was freezing, and the radiator offered no warmth at all. I spent most of the night in layers just to stay warm. The shower in my room was out of order for two mornings in a row, forcing me to awkwardly seek showers in other rooms, stressful and time-consuming.

Breakfast with jam and orange juice. A work desk, flat-screen television and ironing facilities available in the single room. Unbeatable setting, just next door to Peterborough, a lake nearby and a lovely quiet area.

The location was quiet and lovely, right by a lake nearby, and back garden.

The room was beautiful, yet the radiator didn't keep us warm at all.

The cooked breakfast at Highfields was great, packing a hearty punch to start the day! The outdoor dining area added a lovely touch. Found an amazing Chinese spot in the nearby town-definitely a tasty score on our culinary adventure!

Although the room could use a bit more heat-layering up like it's winter in Narnia-and the bathroom light was shining bright, it was all manageable while enjoying the cozy vibe.

The room was clean as, but it could've used more heating. The cooked breakfast was great and really hit the spot!

I stayed for 2 nights as a solo traveler, primarily to explore the Lattersey Local Nature Reserve, which was quite close by. The highlight of my stay was definitely the immaculate deluxe single room that had everything I needed. The hosts tailored my breakfast perfectly to my preferences and delivered it right on time. It was nice to have my car parked right outside my room, adding convenience to my stay.

pleasant stay with a few downsides

Peter and Anita were really good hosts. The breakfast was a real highlight, offering delicious options that was pretty good. We enjoyed a lovely garden view that added to the overall experience and set a peaceful atmosphere.

The lack of nearby dining options required some driving.

A lovely and peaceful setting with security gates adding extra reassurance while traveling alone. The room was immaculate and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was a good highlight, showcasing a 5-star quality that impressed. A lack of air conditioning made the warm room somewhat uncomfortable, and the absence of outdoor seating options was missed. A very enjoyable experience.

Highfields Holidays Bed & Breakfast was a true oasis of tranquility. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. Breakfast was a good spread that catered to my dietary needs beautifully, setting a wonderful tone for each day.

Anita and Pete were the best hosts. Enjoying breakfast in the outdoor dining area was a sweet touch. Only wish there were more options nearby for dinner. It took a bit of driving to find food.

Just an excellent fit for a transient stop in Peterborough with all in all great value for money. The shower in another room worked well after ours was out of order. Be prepared to explore a bit for meals outside the hotel.

The private room seemed like a cozy escape, and the nature reserve nearby added to the charm. I was thrilled with the sweet surprise of a warm croissant delivered to my door.

The staff here are quite friendly, and the venue is in a beautiful location close to a lake with multiple seating areas, a back garden, and a peaceful atmosphere.

The breakfast offered a wide selection of choices, from cereals and croissants to jam, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive.
